Heber the Kenite
Nomadic descendant of Moses' father-in-law Hobab and husband of Jael, who separated from the other Kenites, pitched his tent near Kedesh, and kept a peace treaty with Canaanite King Jabin.
A descendant of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, Heber the Kenite separated from his kinsmen and pitched his tent as far away as the oak in Zaanannim near Kedesh, maintaining peace between his household and King Jabin of Hazor — which is why Sisera fled to Jael's tent expecting safety (Judges 4:11, 17).
