Chief prince of the tribe of Judah during the Exodus who presented the very first dedication offering at the Tabernacle altar and fathered Salmon in the Messianic line.
Son of Amminadab and brother-in-law to Aaron, Nahshon led the 74,600 fighting men of the standard of Judah at the head of Israel's march in the wilderness and was first among all tribal leaders to bring his offering at the dedication of the Tabernacle altar (Numbers 2:3; Numbers 7:12; Matthew 1:4).
Nahshon is cataloged in the covenant lineage and cross-referenced across Scripture. Explore their family connections in the Connections tab.
