Kish
Wealthy Benjamite man of standing and father of King Saul, in whose family tomb at Zela David buried the bones of Saul, Jonathan, and Rizpah's sons.
A man of wealth from the tribe of Benjamin in Gibeah (1 Samuel 9:1–2), Kish sent his son Saul to look for lost donkeys — the journey on which Samuel anointed Saul king. After Rizpah's six-month vigil on the rock, David gathered the bones of Saul, Jonathan, and the seven executed sons and buried them in the tomb of Kish at Zela in Benjamin (2 Samuel 21:14).
