Michael the Archangel
Chief commander of Heaven's angelic armies whose very name is the battle cry 'Who Is Like God?' — who leads the seraphic warhost in Revelation 12:7–9 to evict the Great Red Dragon from Heaven forever.
Named in Daniel 10:13, 21 and Daniel 12:1 as 'the great prince who has charge of your people' and in Jude 1:9 as 'the archangel Michael,' he stands as chief military commander of the hosts of heaven.
In Revelation 12:7–9, when war arises in heaven, 'Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon,' Michael executes the judicial eviction notice purchased by the blood of the Lamb. The Great Red Dragon and his angels are defeated, 'and there was no longer any place for them in heaven,' as Michael hurls the ancient serpent down to the earth.
