📜 Complete Scriptural Narrative

Born to Amram and Jochebed of the tribe of Levi, Aaron stood beside Moses before Pharaoh in Egypt and was consecrated as Israel's first High Priest (Exodus 4:14; Exodus 28:1). Though he faltered terribly in the golden calf crisis at the base of Mount Sinai (Exodus 32), God confirmed the Levitical priesthood when Aaron's dry staff sprouted buds, blossoms, and ripe almonds overnight — a token later kept inside the Ark of the Covenant (Numbers 17:8; Hebrews 9:4).
